We are family owned since 1961. We are our families  4th generation to operate, so we care about our facility and our customers. We have the best reputation on Smith Lake for a well behaved family community atmosphere. We are where friends are made for life! Our RV park is private, only our customers have access to our facility, via swipe card entry.

Family Friendly:

Our smith lake campground is  gentle sloping to Smith Lake. Our smith lake rv park does not have drop offs and there are no hills to climb back to your camper! You can swim in the lake, enjoy a picnic along the beach area. Our property is a favorite location for kayaking. You can fish from the bank or go launch your boat to really enjoy all of what Smith Lake can offer. We also have customers who enjoy a lazy day watching nature, our local visitors are ducks, squirrels, geese, cranes and Bald Eagles!

Save Money and time:

Higher gas prices are motivating campers to look at permanent RV campgrounds as a cost-effective alternative to traveling. Having your RV already set up in our campground saves you time and helps you avoid coming home tired from your long day at work, then having to hook up, drive to a campground and set up your RV on the weekends. When you get off for the weekend, all you have to do is show up. It is like having a home away from home! 

Safety:

Your family's safety is our top priority. So you can relax and enjoy your stay. We are a gated community which means only our customers can access our RV park and boat launch area via a swipe card gated entrance. We are fully enclosed by a chain link fence with 24 hr night vision surveillance.

Amenities:

Our Rv Sites are full hook up. We have lake front and lake view lots. Rental of one of our campsites includes: wifi, water, electricity, sewer, sanitation and boat launch.  You can have a stepping stone deck, grill, and patio furniture, etc.  Although your RV is here for the season, you can not live here. We do not allow permanent live in residence. Our Campground is perfect for your weekend visits, family getaways and up to 2wks vacations. The majority of our Rv Park lots are rented on a 1 yr lease. We do have some 6 month lease on waterfront lots (May-Oct)

Location:

Speegle's Marina & Campground/ RV park is surrounded by beautiful Smith Lake, (Cullman Al). Smith Lake covers over 21,000 acres in Cullman, Walker and Winston County. It is one of the cleanest lakes in the United States. We are located on the Cullman county side 10 minutes from I-65. We are conveniently located 1 hr from both Huntsville and Birmingham. 

Enjoy the local attractions:

There are 3 Local restaurants: Drifters on Smith Lake, Whitlock's Cafe, Trimble Super Center (All 5 min away)

1 grocery store Trimble Super Center and a Dollar General (both 5 min away)  

The city of Cullman is 15 minutes away. (Walmart, Lowes, Publix, AMC movie theater)

During the summer many of our customers enjoy taking their family to Wild Water Park (20 min away).

Sportsman's Lake offers putt putt golf, train rides, walking and nature trails. They also have an awesome splash pad for your younger children. (20 min away).

Other customers enjoy local golfing, Stoney Lonesome OHV Park, Ava Maria Grotto, Clarkson Covered Bridge, Hurricane Creek Park, and Brickyard Meats Processing (local meat market where the best cut of steaks can be found).

1yr lease due date - due date  

  $300.00 you pay your own electric 

$350.00 - $500.00 per month depending the lot location. (utilities included)

We do offer prepay discounts on the 1 yr lease. 

6mo lease $550 per month
